Nutrition plays a critical role in the development of health and fitness. In fact, it is the cornerstone to our overall quality of life and longevity.
There is a strong correlation between the foods we consume, how our bodies perform and look, and how our minds process information. Without proper nutrition we are limiting our body's potential and quite possibly aiding in our own demise.
With that said, proper nutrition is only part of the equation. Other variables such as sleep, water consumption, vitamin supplementation, stress management, mindfulness, and joint mobility must also be considered for overall health and fitness success. When you add these variables to the equation you begin to understand that health and fitness is quite complex and involves a much more “whole-life" approach.
At MACF, we value all of these variables and strive to approach every day with this "whole-life" perspective. Therefore don't be surprised when you hear your MACF coach holding daily discussions regarding these topics before, during, and/or after class.
MACF not only talks the talk, but it walks the walk. This is why MACF coaches continually participate in the Whole Life Challenge and promotes member participation in at least one Whole Life Challenge - especially for new members.
